Description

A nice quality Victorian black slate mantel clock with brass pillars to the sides and brass finials to the top of the clock. The clock dial is white enamel with black Roman numerals, this is surrounded by a cast brass outer ring and bezel. This piece has an 8-day mechanical movement striking on a gong which has been serviced and is in a fully working condition. The movement is by Japys Freres & Co Paris.
