A rare garden set of polo mallets and pegs by J.Salter of Aldershot England. This delightful set comprises of the following items Original hand painted sign written wooden case with rope handles. x4 J.Salter mallets of varying lengths x2-28", x1-30" and x1-33". x1 Sotogrande San Roque mallet at 23". x1 Polo Splice Pro-Am mallet at 29". x4 painted corner posts and x2 painted pegs. This really is a collectors lot in superb original condition. Polo was much enjoyed and had huge popularity amongst British Army officers, especially in India. There were only two firms in England making Polo sticks and J.Salter were so astute in basing themselves in Aldershot, home of the British army.
