A quality set of six upholstered leather oak framed dining chairs from the Aesthetic period presented in wonderful original condition. c1880

Solid oak frames, fully sprung seating which combine with excellent craftsmanship to deliver an exceptionally robust and comfortable set of dining chairs.

The chair legs have been superbly turned to the front with tapering squared section rear legs.The rear support of the chairs rises from the seat frame through wonderfully shaped backs complete with hand carving. The backs are slanted and curved to provide support and comfort offering a very pleasing seating experience.

The chairs are upholstered in a medium brown leather which is now showing many years of use.

With a 49cm seat height these chairs make an ideal set for daily use.
