Description

A large cast iron Romesse pot belly Scottish wood burner with its original stand. This industrial/commercial wood burner is in good condition however it does require refurbishment and cleaning up. New fire ropes need to be applied between the various sections and the wood burner in general is rusted and needs to be blasted. This piece is quite difficult to find with all its original parts, especially the base section.

Made by Smith & Well Stood Limited. Columbian Stove Works Bonnybridge, Scotland. This would look fabulous in any pub/restaurant or indeed in the home. My guess is that this would really give out quite a lot of heat. The various sections of the main burner can be removed which would reduce the height and also the heat output.
