Description

A superb Edwardian oak roll top tambour fronted desk. This desk consists of a central single drawer with a set of four drawers to the left hand side and three drawers to the right hand side, one being a double depth drawer. All with shaped wooden handles. The pull out desk top is made of solid oak with its original inset green top, this does have wear to it however we do not feel it is anywhere bad enough to need replacing. There are a number of pigeon holes to the back of the desk with additional drawers and pull out pen trays. This piece also benefits from having panelled sides and a panelled back so it can be positioned in the centre of the room and still look good. The desk also benefits from having the original key which locks all of the side drawers when the tambour is locked closed. The knee-hole dimensions are 65cm in height and 51.5 cm in the width.
