Description

A good quality 19th century Coalbrookdale style cast iron stick stand, the stand comprises of a rectangular body with finials to each corner, flanking six circular stick divisions. The cluster column verticals are joined by rosettes to the centre, and scrolled pierced decoration to the top and bottom. The lift out drip tray has a small handle to the centre, housed within a fluted turret corner base. The base has a cast lozenge/registration mark. circa 1880 NB: Old repair to base however this does not detract from this wonderful piece.
