Description

A stunning triple fusee burr walnut bracket clock with repeater mechanism. This lovely domed top piece is of superb quality throughout, from the simplicity of the burr walnut case to the clean crisp white dial. The 8-day Maple of London chain driven triple fusee mechanical movement is in full working condition and chiming on gongs. The dial is white with black Roman numerals and has a fine outer chapter ring with minute markers. To the right hand-side of the face is a silencing lever to switch off the chime and strike. Domed glass to the front of the case with a glazed door to the back. (no key for the door). circa 1830
