Description

A superb late 19th century French slate and marble drum head mantel clock. This good sized piece is predominantly made from slate with green veined marble surrounding the drum head and to the plinth. The white enamelled dial has black Roman numerals and an outer chapter ring. The clock has an 8-day mechanical movement which has been fully serviced and is in full working condition. It also strikes on a bell every hour. Maker Vincenti 1890. NB: Please note that at some-point in its history it has had repairs carried out to the slate case, please see the images for these repairs especially to the side of the case. PW-2
