Description

A really nice example from Gustav Becker. This Edwardian 8-day mechanical movement has a striking mechanism that strikes on the half hour and on the the hour on a gong. The dial is white enamel with black Roman numerals and an inner ring of red 24 hour digits. The clock has been fully serviced and is in full working order. The brass pendulum is particularly nice with an embossed female form to the front side. To the sides of the door there are canted and fluted columns with shaped corbels to the top and bottom. circa 1910 JW-35
