Rather lovely and very original mahogany cross frame stool with baluster turned stretcher and applied patterae attributed to Gillows .English: Circa 1820
Please note: With influence from earlier Thomas Hope designs and similar to stools designed by Gillows for Tatton Park circa 1817 Also please see original Gillows design drawing ( photo 5)...Estimate and Sketch Book design dated 30th January 1827.
