100 years or so have given this bookcase a lovely mellow oak colour , the design and pleasing proportions are timeless. Early 20th century , with a nod to the Arts and Crafts movement also to the Celtic Revival movement with the classic knot motifs on the handles. The shaped top over a plain frieze above shaped doors with original leaded glass inclosing four shelves with lots of adjustment options. Please note one shelf later. In turn over two useful cupboards with plain panel doors . All raised on a rather nice Cupid bow plinth. Bookcase or display cabinet … or both….stylish and characterful storage and display!
