Lovely quality pair of X framed or 'curule' mahogany and satinwood banded hall or side chairs by James Shoolbred , London.ENGLISH Circa 189O - 1910
Note:James Shoolbred began retailing textiles and furnishings in Totenham Court Road London in the 1820's. In the 1870's they began also designing and manufacturing very high quality furniture . The Company ceased trading in the 1930's.
