Description

A rare and stunning Ash washstand with hand painted crossbanding and ebonized stringing all totally the marble top (due to one or two fractures) and resurfacing the top. The whole finish has been rejuvenated and the brass sleeved castors and porcelain knobs are original. The rare Minton tiles are of a 'snowdrop' design by Christopher Dresser who worked at the Minton factory for a time. Of our huge stock of fully restored washstands this is one of the most rare and attractive.
