We are delighted to offer for sale this truly sublime, finest quality, hand made in England by Orme & Son's of Manchester, London & Glasgow Est 1848 Snooker scoreboard

This is the Rolls Royce of scoreboards, it is the only example I have ever seen in Burr Walnut, it has Mother of Pearl, Box Wood, Ebony and of Course Burr Walnut, there will never be another example to beat this

It has been fully restored by my cabinet maker and French polisher, it is in Museum condition and deserves to be displayed as such

The piece is fully stamped Orme & Sons Manchester London & Glasgow to the front, on the top right it is stamped Orme & Sons Manchester and top left 919 1 for the order number

The condition is sublime, as mentioned it was fully restored so its been washed back and French polished, any timber issues have been resolved, this is just exquisite

Orme and Sons were one of the most important billiard table manufacturers in England. The company was founded in 1848, and but during the Great Depression they first amalgamated their distribution with Burroughs & Watts in 1931, before finally disappearing later on in the 1930s. In 1933 the company was responsible for running 77 leagues across England and Ireland, with an estimated total of 15,400 players (average 200 players per league).

We have long term storage which is very economically priced, we are happy to hold stock for as long as needed providing it is arranged prior to the purchase.

If sold items aren’t collected within three months and no arrangements have been made for long term storage you will forfeit the item and payment.
