Wonderful Black Forest carved figure of a gentleman in the for of a whip hook.These carvings originate from the Swiss town of Brienz.
This is a lovely original example with rich patina.
The carving is superbly executed, watch chain,belt and folds in the clothing are clear to see.
There is a very old written label to the back of the carving.
