Description
A beautiful and rare George III Manx fruitwood and elm candle stand tripod table. Featuring a pretty and well figured single piece turned elm top supported on a finely turned fruitwood stem with human shaped legs.With exceptional colour and patina throughout, wonderfully proportioned and in superb original condition. The top having been historically turned to strengthen a shrinkage shake.
A rare and elegant piece of country furniture of desirable form.
