This really is an outstanding matching pair of antique french lamp tables

The are made of wrought cast iron whith the centre stretcher twisted into a barley twist

The metal is gilded over a red paint with areas of the red background just slightly exposed on the edges, iconic in shabby chic furniture

The tops are beige veined marble

They are in good general order, one top has 2 areas of light scratches and a tiny snip under the marble, the other has no problems

These are an early example in great quality , solid and heavyset , beautifully presented

An outstanding and rare pair of lamp tables which would look stunning at either end of a large settee
