Antique Perth Scottish provincial silver toddy ladle, free from engraving/personalisation, with fiddle pattern handle.

The toddy ladle bears the hallmarks for Robert Keay (stamped twice), and the Perth double headed eagle town mark.
The Richard Turner reference book on Scottish provincial silver dates Robert's work to c1791-1825.

The toddy ladle is 16.5 cm (6.5") long. The bowl is 4 .3cm (1.7") in diameter and is 1.5 cm (.6") deep. It weighs 28 grams.
All measurements are approximate.
The toddy ladle is in very good condition, with just light overall scratching commensurate with age and usage.
