Description

Edwardian silver stamp case, of envelope design with the word "Stamps" embossed to the front. The stamp case is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1902, and the makers Crisford & Norris Ltd.
There are a full set of marks to the envelope, and a partial set to the flap. All hallmarks are crisp and clear.

Crisford and Norris were based in Vyse Street, Birmingham.

The stamp case is approximately 2.8 cm (1.1"), excluding the suspension ring, by 2.4 cm (.9"). It weighs 5g

The case is in very good overall condition, with just light surface scratching and minor "pocket rash" commensurate with age and use. The hinge and catch work well.
