Description

Edwardian silver sugar sifter, featuring a pierced shell bowl, with an ornately cast art nouveau style ladle handle.

The sifter is fully hallmarked for Sheffield, 1902, and the makers Sutherland and Roden.
All hallmarks are crisp and clear.

Sutherland and Roden operated from Carver Street, Sheffield.
The ladle shaped sifter is 10.5 cm (4.2") long. The pierced bowl is 3.8 cm (1.5") in diameter and .8 cm (.3") deep. It weighs 16 grams.
All measurements are approximate.

The sifter is in very good condition, though there is a slight kink in the handle.
