Edwardian silver stamp case, of envelope design and all over planish finish.

The stamp case is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1906, and the makers Gourdel Vales & Co.
There are a full set of marks to the envelope, and a partial set to the flap. The hallmarks are crisp and clear.

Gourdel Vales & Co operated from Great Marlborough Street, London.

The stamp case is approximately 2.9 cm (1.1"), excluding the suspension ring, by 2.4 cm (.9"). It weighs 5g.

The case is in very good overall condition. The hinge and catch work well.
