Description

Antique silver sugar bowl.
The bowl features an embossed spiral design to the base with plain sides.

The bowl is fully hallmarked for London, 1889 and the maker Horace Woodward & Co (Edgar Finley & Hugh Taylor).
The hallmarks are clear.

Horace Woodward & Co operated from Great Charles Street, Birmingham.

The bowl measures 9 cm (3.5") in diameter across the top, and stands 3.5 cm (1.4") tall. It weighs 58 grams.
All measurements are approximate.

The silver is in good overall condition with no splits. However there is a slight crease in the side, and a few tarnish spots to the interior.
