Plain design curved cigarette case.

The cigarette case is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1918, and the maker William Base.
All hallmarks are clear.

The cigarette case is 10 cm (4") wide by 8 cm (3.25") high by 1.5 cm (.5") thick, and it weighs 110 grams.
All measurements are approximate.

The cigarette case is in very good condition. There are a few minor surface depressions and minor surface wear commensurate with age. The gilded interior is slightly tarnished where the retaining bands stretch across/contact the surface. The hinges and closure clasp are tight and work well, but one end of the hinge is missing.
