Plain silver match book cover.

The match book cover is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1930, and the maker George Randle.
The case carries a full set of hallmarks, whilst the lid has a partial set. All marks are very clear.

George Randle worked out of Vittoria Street, Birmingham.

The match book cover 4.5 cm (1.5") by 5.5 cm (2.25") by 1 cm (.3"). It weighs 31 grams.
All measurements are approximate.

The cover has all over surface scratching commensurate with age and heavy usage. Additionally there are a few round washer shaped marks top and bottom. The plain sheet folding cover/lid is also rippled.
It's packed with character!
