Description

Antique Chester silver sugar bowl.
The bowl stands on a round stepped pedestal base and features an embossed floral design with two vacant cartouches.

The bowl is fully hallmarked for Chester, 1908 and the maker Robert Pringle & Sons.
The hallmarks are crisp and clear.

Robert Pringle & Sons operated from Clerkenwell Road, London EC1.

The bowl measures 8.5 cm (3.3") in diameter across the top, 6 cm (2.3") in diameter across the base, and stands 6.2 com (2.5") tall. It weighs 62 grams.
All measurements are approximate.

The silver is in good overall condition with no splits. However there are several dings in the silver and both bowl and base are misshapen.
