Description
A Vicorian Triple Fusee 8 Bell Bracket Clock.A beautiful ebonised arched case with urn and berry finials the front dial is flanked by appliques, the gilt arched dial has a silver chapter dial roman numerals, two subsidiary dials for chime/silent and chime on 8 bells/ westminister. Each side of the case has sunburst gilt brass fretwork panels standing on cast scroll paw feet.
Thick Bevelled front door set within an decorative arched cast brass surround.
8 day Triple Fusee movement striking on 8 bells, plays bells each quarter and strikes on a coiled gong on the hour all been stripped cleaned and in good condition.
