Description

Direct from a Scottish stately home this fine example of a 19thC pierced and carved mahogany silver table or side table has the pedigree and elaborate style that you would expect of a country house antique piece.
In the manner and style of Thomas Chippendale with its delicate pierced fretwork decoration from its legs to its top gallery... made from a mahogany of rich colour and a patina, this a very light delicate piece which has had recent sympathetic restoration to fix and replace small damages bringing it back to where it needs to be for its new home.
Priced competitively this would be a warm edition to any smart lounge, hallway or bedroom to display your silver (or silver-plate) framed family photos and trinkets bringing it into the 21st Century.
