An Art Deco matt green glazed side plate with concentric bands to the rim designed by Tom Wedgwood and John Goodwin for Wedgwood, circa 1930s. Factory impressed and stamped marks to the base.

These plates are the result of a successful collaboration between Norman Wilson who, as Wedgwood's production manager, was responsible for developing new glazes, including this innovative matt green glaze, and Clement Tom Wedgwood and John E. Goodwin who created the iconic modernist annular shape.

This is the only side plate we have in stock though we do have 9 of the slightly larger (small dinner) plates available, of which 5 are currently listed.

Condition: Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Kiln marks to base as expected.
