Description
A stunning and substantial vintage Chinese drip and crackle glaze table lamp base of baluster form with a turned wooden mount to the top and a wide turned wooden stand to the base, circa 1960s. The colour of the glaze varies from dark brown through shades of green to white. We've not come across anything quite like this especially in this colourway.Dimensions: Height to shade ring 43 cm x diameter 20 cm

Condition: This has had a new lamp holder and plug fitted by our electrician, and has been fully tested and passed. The ceramic body is in perfect condition without chips or cracks. The stand has some light age-related marks but has been cleaned and polished in our workshop. It does not come with a shade but we would recommend a linen effect tapered drum shade with 45 cm diameter base as shown in one of the photographs.

We have a trusted delivery man who is a experienced in transporting antiques, pictures and fragile items. He can deliver to most places on mainland England and Wales and, depending on where he is on his schedule, it may take a few days or up to 4 weeks. Other couriers are available for Scotland and North Wales or where a shorter time frame is required. Purchases can also be collected in person from the Tunbridge Wells area in SE England.
