Description

A fine pair of 19th century Chinese sleeve bands within a blue and gold floral border and simple black frame. Worked in Peking knot and gold thread on cream silk, the intricacy of the embroidery is exceptional - with various Chinese motifs on display including cranes, pots of flowers on stands and bats. The cranes in flight are particularly eye catching.
