Description

A fine 19th century Dutch oyster bucket or kettle warmer bucket made from turned sycamore with ebonised rings and fitted with a brass rim and swing handle.

Dimensions: Height 31 cm x Diameter (top) 29 cm
Base diameter 24.5 cm. Height including handle 47 cm

Condition: Very good antique condition. It may originally contained a brass pan to half the depth of the bucket though its absence makes this bucket more useful for storage, e.g. by the fireplace for holding kindling or for use as a wastepaper bin.
