Description

This is a Japanese Meiji Period porcelain Imari bowl finely painted on both the interior and exterior with maker's marks to the base. It possesses a gilded rim, a wide border bearing a leaf like pattern picked out in red and gold, a narrow band with a blue and white geometric pattern around a central medallion having a floral design in dark blue against a white background.

Its the size of a large dessert bowl so a little on the small size for a fruit bowl
