Description

This is a magnificent David Lloyd-Jones (British, 1928-1994) studio pottery stoneware charger of large proportions - almost 50 cm in diameter and weighing over 5 kg, hand-made in the 4th quarter 20th century. It has a rich tenmoku glaze featuring a repeating chevron design with two applied hangers to back and an impressed seal mark above the foot ring.
