Description

This is an attractive pair of Chinese Canton Famille Rose hand-painted porcelain tea plates from the early 20th century, circa 1920.

The detailing is extremely fine two dragons, one blue the other green, facing up to each other form the composition in the central panel, surrounded by bands of repeating geometric motifs and four vignettes each containing a bird on a branch and an arrangement of flowers. 'Made in China' is stamped on the underneath of each plate.

Dimensions: Diameter 18.3 cm x Height 2.5 cm

Condition: Excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks, just some minor rubbing of the decoration.
