Description

This is a fine hand-carved pair of Japanese wooden plates depicting a landscape with shrines and pine trees in the foreground, and a temple and mountains in the background, circa 1920. The backs are plain.

The compositions are identical on each plate but there are minor differences in the detail which you would expect given thy have been carved by hand.

Dimensions: Diameter 20 cm (8 inch) Height 2 cm (3/4 inch)

Condition: The plates are in fine antique condition with no chips or splits. However, there are some stains on one of the plates.

He can deliver to most places on mainland England and Wales and, depending on where he is on his schedule, it may take a few days or up to 4 weeks. Other couriers are available for Scotland and North Wales or where a shorter time frame is required. Purchases can also be collected in person from the Tunbridge Wells area in SE England.
