Description

This is an impressive, heavy, free-form crystal glass starfish bowl by Art Vannes of France dating from circa 1960.

It has 9 radiating arms which gives it a wonderful organic feel. It would look stunning as a centrepiece on a large kitchen table or sideboard. It can be used for holding fruit as the last picture with some apples and a pomegranate demonstrates.

Base is ground flat and bears the acid etched logo for Art Vannes France.

Condition: The bowl is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There are some scratches on the base and the odd one in the centre of the bowl.

He can deliver to most places on mainland England and Wales and, depending on where he is on his schedule, it may take a few days or up to 4 weeks. Other couriers are available for Scotland and North Wales or where a shorter time frame is required. Purchases can also be collected in person from the Tunbridge Wells area in SE England.
