Description

This is an original, large copper engraving of the naval and military base at Woolwich, London, drawn by Thomas Yeakell and engraved by J. Warner, and published 1st Feb 1811 by T. Cadell and W. Davies.

Title: "PLAN shewing the ORDNANCE GROUND and adjacent parts at WOOLWICH March, 1810"

It is a highly detailed plan of the Ordnance Ground in the vicinity of Woolwich with many individual buildings identified. A key below the title lists additional buildings marked with letters.

Size: 21 1/4" x 14 3/4" (54 x 38 cm)

Condition: Very good clean condition with only minor handling creases. Folds as published. No tears or repairs. It has later hand-colouring to enhance the decorative appeal of this charming map.
