Description

Original 16th century antique stained glass panel, hand painted depicting April from a series of the Labours of Month. A garden scene showing labours tending to a large garden. The word “Aprilis” is inscribed below and the bull of Taurus in painted above. Signed “ISB” Hans Sebald Beham, in the bottom right corner. Modern day outer lead covering original grozed edges and lead strap restoration keeping it in original condition.
