Description

This is a handsome Georgian mahogany secretaire chest of drawers which dates from the late 18th century. The chest is a an attractive soft pale mahogany with boxwwood and rosewood stringing. There are four drawers, the top drawer with fall front opening to reveal a fitted interior. The other three drawers are graduated in size with brass handles and the chest is raised on a cut away plinth. It is in excellent condition with some minor damage to the top handles, however they remain attractive secure and functional. It measures 36 inches wide, 21 inches deep and 43 inches high.
