Gents 1950s Wrist Watch

Description
Gents 1950s wrist watch.The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Helios Watch Co.
The watch measures 34.5mm diameter excluding the nicely shaped lugs and the winding crown. The case is chrome plated while the case back is stainless steel. A little light marking, and minor wear to the plate on the back of the watch, but overall very nice condition for a 1950s piece.
The lens is in good condition.
The dial is signed Bentima Star. It is in its original finish with Pontife hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. The dial is not original to the watch but a period replacement that appears to have been fitted some time ago.
The watch has a vintage leather strap, although we can fit a new strap if preferred.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
