Antique silver Waltham fob watch.

The watch has a 15-jewel stem-winding movement, grade 115, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 16,899,682 which dates it back to 1908. This is a good quality movement with screw set jewels, Breguet hairspring and patent regulator. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and is hallmarked for Birmingham 1899 with a sponsor’s mark for Alfred Bedford, Manager of Waltham UK. The case is in lovely condition, just one small mark to the bezel.

The movement and case are not original to each other but they sit very well together.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in lovely condition too.

The watch comes in a vintage presentation box.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
