Gents Sekonda alarm wrist watch.

The watch has a Russian 18 jewel hand-winding movement, Poljot 2812.1. Sekonda and Poljot are the same company but Sekonda was the brand name used for the British market.

The watch measures 36mm diameter excluding the crowns and the lugs. The case is chrome plated, the front and sides are in good condition some rubbing to the back. The case back is stainless steel.

The later lens is in good condition, as is the signed dial with original hands, seconds sweep and alarm hand. The alarm is set by pulling out the top crown and turning anti-clockwise so the alarm hand moves backwards. It is then pushed back in and wound until resistance is felt.

The watch comes on a stainless steel bracelet. It currently fits a 17.5cm wrist although there is capacity on the clasp to make it around 1cm larger.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
