Gents Tissot Seastar automatic wrist watch, 1972.

The watch has a calibre 2481 automatic movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Tissot name and it has the serial number 15,098,159 which dates it back to 1972.

The watch measures 36mm wide excluding the Tissot signed winding crown, and 35mm high excluding the lugs. The case is gold plated while the screw-on case back is stainless steel. There is the odd small mark but overall the condition is good. The case back is signed inside.

The lens has a couple of light short scratches but they are barely noticeable to the naked eye.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, seconds sweep and outer minute markers. Quickset date, initially set by repeatedly pushing the winding crown.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
