BKnown as 'paniers mannequin' in France, these large wicker baskets were used for collecting the grapes
from the vines and then carried back to the press.

Lovely decorative baskets bound on wooden feet
very sturdy (some old woodworm holes, the entire basket has been treated).

It does seem to be tilting a little to the left if you look at the front side (with the black square at base), but that's all part of the charm.

Measuring 60cm to the rim of the basket with another 5cm or so for the handle although the left side is slightly lower, 80cm wide.

Perfect fireside as a log/blanket basket.
