A 1960s unused tie pin / clip in the original box in excellent condition. Such a nice find & on the base of the box it is marked with the price 3/5 (a quarter guinea). This was made before decimalization in 1971. The gilt tie clip is mounted with a cricketer in action. As you would expect from Stratton it is well made & functions perfectly. The base of the tie clip is engraved 'NIPPY CLIP MADE IN ENGLAND'. The cardboard box is very smart too - decorated in red & white - a gentleman wearing a top hat & bow tie & signed 'Stratton'. The box has the original stickers 'SPORTSMAN' & a another with the Stratton logo of the gentleman in a top hat signed 'Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND'.

This vintage tie clip measures 2 1/4" & weighs 5.6 grams.
