A splendid Stratton powder compact which is ideal for pressed and loose foundation. The lid is embellished with lustrous emerald green enamel and a design the makers originally named jewel design. There isn't any loss of enamel / design. The whole accessory is in excellent condition. The presentation box, pouch, puff and sifter are present.

The lacquered golden brass is gleaming clean, as is the whole compact. It will not tarnish or need to be cleaned due to the exacting standards the makers used to craft it. The mirror gives a good clear reflection. The hinges and clasps work perfectly. The compact is signed Stratton England. Measures 3 1/4 inches diameter. Weighs 100.7grams.

This 1970s Stratton Slim-Convertible compact is suitable for use as a handbag mirror, for all loose face powder and also with pressed foundation pans measuring 59-67mm diameter.
