A remarkably beautiful fully hallmarked Victorian 9 carat yellow gold locket which was crafted by Albert Ernest Jenkins in 1897. This Birmingham assayed antique is adorned with forget-me-nots. An elegant shield cartouche represents the desire of the donor to protect the recipient. A fleur de lis is also depicted. This flower represents faith, unity and honour. The interior contains two recesses for photographs, the original photo protectors and frame. All clasps and hinges work perfectly. This piece is paired with an elegant 18 inch necklace, so that this locket can be worn immediately.
