Such a delightful 1950s Mascot handbag shaped loose powder compact! The brass was lacquered by the maker and so it will not need to be cleaned. The lid and base are fitted with the original elegant black patterned sequin set fabric. The mirror gives a good clear reflection. The mirror bezel is stamped MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN.  The inner lid is stamped with the trademark Mascot brand crown stamp. The unused sifter and puff are present. The catches and hinges work exactly as they should. Measures 7.5 cm long x 6.5 high. Weighs 93.1 grams. An immaculate pouch is included.
