A beautiful 1950s enamel Stratton compact mirror which is ideal for loose face powder or as a cherished collectible. This is a hard to find Stratton Regency powder compact with a lid decoration depicting François Boucher's famous Rococo painting The Bird Cage. There isn't any loss of enamel / design. The enamel plaque is framed by an elegant gilt lid surround. The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. The inner lid is decorated with vertical lines and a square cartouche engraved with the Compact-in-Hand logo and the Stratton signature. The original sifter and pouch are included. Measures 3 3/8 inch and weighs 108.8 grams.
