A very pretty 1950s Kigu basket shaped vintage powder compact fitted with absolutely gorgeous Lucite flowers protected by a clear Lucite dome. Ornate engravings give this piece the appearance of a traditional wicker basket crafted out of brass. The carry handle is functional and sturdy. The original puff and sifter are present. The mirror gives an excellent clear reflection. The hinge and clasp work perfectly. The powder well wall is stamped Bouquet. The Kigu registered trademark is stamped on the base of the powder well. Measures 5.5 cm diameter and weighs 54.9 grams. A pouch is included.
